The Mark Ashford Scholarship is awarded each year to a person with CF who's shown excellence in tertiary study and/or shown tenacity to overcome the challenges of CF while studying. Mark had CF and passed away in 1996 after making a huge contribution to home health with his work on the Fletcher Group's Health Homes book.
The scholarship awarded is $3,000.
2016 marked 20 years of the Mark Ashford Scholarship with a video produced by Kieran Wright to acknowledge the past recipients who achieved remarkable results – often in the face of adversity.
