CFNZ Auckland

Welcome to the Auckland Branch of Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand. The Auckland Branch covers the area between Warkworth in the north and Pokeno to the south. While one of the smaller areas geographically, CFNZ Auckland services the largest branch membership, is a busy and active branch, with many volunteers and one staff member. Contacts for the Auckland Branch are:

We offer assistance with:

  • equipment essential for people with CF
  • welfare issues
  • peer support
  • help when in hospital
  • clinic support, e.g. parking vouchers
  • education and information
  • financial and emotional support

We are an active branch with fundraising events each year to raise the funds we need to support people with CF in our community. Among many small fundraising ventures we sell the Entertainment Book, co-ordinate Awareness Week activities, movie nights, the Auckland Marathon. We hold coffee mornings which provide a wonderful, relaxed opportunity to mingle and share ideas, and other social gatherings throughout the year.

The Auckland E-News is emailed each month containing articles from our community, lots of photos, updates from Auckland and Starship hospitals, branch news, diary dates, summaries from conferences and other events, and much, much more. Email Auckland Coordinator Kath to get on the list.

We have an Auckland website with regular updates of our events, fundraising ideas, branch news and a whole heap of information aimed at informing and assisting people and their families living with CF.  Please visit us on or check our Auckland Cystic Fibrosis Facebook page for updates.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Auckland branch please contact us. Our meeting times are monthly (usually first or second Wednesday). Please contact the branch if you would like to attend.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
