The advent of social networking sites has been a great boon for people with Cystic Fibrosis, as it means that they can maintain their connectivity with their peers, and not have to worry about cross-infection issues.
Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand supports social networking by maintaining five facebook pages, each aimed at a different sector of our community. We also produce an informative printed magazine CF News, and issue an e-newsletter, the Panui, once a month.
Keep up to date with the activities of Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand.
This closed group has been developed for the carers and supporters of people with Cystic Fibrosis in New Zealand. People invited or who would like to join this group will be either parents, grandparents, partners or carers of people with CF, siblings, adults with CF or others who have some form of link to the CF community.
For anyone wanting to join, they can follow this link, and request an invitation to join. Alternatively, you can send your request to join to the CFNZ Office and an invite can be sent via your Facebook page.
The CFANZ Adults page is targeted specifically for CF Adults and their partners. The page functions as a closed group, to create a means of connecting with others in similar situations, where cross-infection issues would otherwise restrict this connectivity.
This page is for people with an interest in Cystic Fibrosis research to post anything new or exciting for others to read and share.
