Our Services

The services provided by Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand (CFNZ) to its members include:

  • Provision of an information service about Cystic Fibrosis (CF), publishing books, brochures and other media and related web links about CF and maintaining a library of these materials
  • Support people with CF and their families, through welfare assistance, fieldworkers, and grants and scholarships to encourage physical activity, conference attendance and other beneficial activities
  • Communicate and co-ordinate through newsletters, conferences, and social networks
  • Provide educational opportunities for people with CF, their families and allied health professionals to learn about management of therapies for CF
  • Promote public awareness of CF through Awareness Week, media stories and other activities
  • Advocate on behalf of the CF community to Government and other agencies
  • Encourage and fund CF research through the Shares in Life Foundation
  • Raise funds to ensure that our important services provided to the CF community can be provided into the future
