Watch the BNZ Crusaders battle it out in a 20/20 match against an All-Star team of Olympians and sports stars captained by Andrew Mehrtens in aid of Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand.
This free, family friendly day on 10 Sunday December in Christchurch includes a sausage sizzle, autograph signings, charity auction (including art), bouncy castle and a Children’s Cricket Academy.
This year a new feature will be a market marquee which will feature artwork on sale by local artists to help raise funds for CFNZ including a portrait of late cricket legend Martin Crowe by Ira Mitchell and also artwork by former TV presenter Erin Simpson. Artwork by Svetlana Orinko inspired by 65 Roses, which is a worldwide CF symbol, will also be auctioned at the Charity Cricket match along with a Daikin heat pump courtesy of Gavin Lowe Energy, a Working Style suit and an autographed 2017 All Blacks jersey.
CFNZ would like to extend a huge thank you to the BNZ Crusaders for their on-going support of this event – this is their 35th Cystic Fibrosis Charity Cricket Match, which shows incredible support for the people who live with this life-limiting condition. The Crusaders are always champions to us!
