The Nutrition Guidelines for Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and New Zealand have been updated in 2017.
These evidenced based guidelines led by the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand cover key nutrition-related questions to help guide clinical practice and nutrition care. The guidelines were developed by dietitians experienced in CF care in Australia and New Zealand specialist CF centres, with assistance from an interdisciplinary expert group and CF consumers.
The guideline recommendations and practice points were approved by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) in May 2017. The guidelines are available here at the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.
